Greek Islands Trip - Day 9

Dateline Hora, Mykonos:

We left Syros just before noon today and rode the ferry to Mykonos (about 75 minutes, with one stop).
We spent the afternoon walking around the town, and then went out for dinner. This place is crawling with tourists, a sharp contrast to Syros.
Greek food has been delicious. Nothing to complain about. From the fast food souvlakis at a beach front cabana to our mid-afternoon shared-plate meals all have been tasty. The salads are so fresh (yes, this is really me extolling salads), the beer great on these hot days, the wine quite good, and cheap. I don't always know what I've eaten, as we've let Ted lead us into the different foods, but they have been tasty, even if not outstanding.
The attached photo illustrates the white-washing of Mykonos (literally).
We'll be here for another two days.
