Travels to Greece - Departure

Hello from Pearson Airport,
We are at the airport awaiting our plane departure to Athens.
Veda and I are here with Grace, ready to fly (for 9 1/2 hours). We will be joined here by our friend Ted Djaferis, who is coming in on a flight from Sudbury. Ted is travelling with us, for which we are doubly happy. Not only will Ted be a great travel companion, but he also speaks Greek. Ted will travel with the three of us and eventually leave us on our own while he travels to Cyprus to visit his mother.

Travel photo tip: Have you noticed how seldom you, the photographer, appear in your images of your trips? Often I see travellers giving their expensive camera to some stranger to snap a photo. I have a better (and safer) idea. Set your camera up and use the self-timer. This way you control the composition of the photo. Safer? What if that stranger really wants your camera!
