We just returned from a three-day trip to Sun Peaks, near Kamloops, with Marilyn and Bob Wilkinson.
On Monday we met an old Sudbury friend of Bob's, Kent Woodruff, who has lived in Kamloops for a long time. He showed us around the ski runs.
Tuesday was very foggy, especially at the top, where we could barely see our ski tips as we ascended the highest chair lift. That evening we had an excellent dinner, which more than compensated for the day's weather.
Today was fantastic - some of our best skiing of this season. The day was bright and sunny, but more importantly, there had been good snowfall overnight. It was great in the powder.
Today's photo shows the village at Sun Peaks. On the right is the hotel where we stayed.
