January 14 - On the Road Again

I've unashamedly borrowed this title from Willie Nelson. No apologies though.

We left home on Saturday and drove two hours to Blind River, where we visited with Claudette and Bob Gallagher. We left Blind River early Sunday morning. It was only 20 below. Here are two photos that I made along the Mississaugi River west of town.

_02A3211_02A3211 _02A3216_02A3216 We drove ten hours that day, to Pewaukee, Wisconsin. We are here visiting with my cousin, Susan and her husband John. The roads were bare and dry for the whole trip. We had sunny skies except for an interlude near St. Ignace, Michigan, and the last part of the trip south from Green Bay. Some good company, good food, and good wines, and we'll be back on the road tomorrow morning.
