November 6 - Portugal, Day 20

Today was foggy with a constant light rain. Combine that with the fact that we also disliked our hotel room in Peso da Regua, we decided to leave the valley and head to Porto.

Then we headed toward the motorway and a speedier route to Porto. But just outside the city, we encountered a traffic jam caused by an accident. Once we got into Porto, we had to find our lodgings at Ibis Hotel.

"Fine Dining" in our hotel room - a bottle of an excellent Douro wine we bought in Pinhao, along with a good pate with Port and a mediocre Brie cheese purchased in the grocery next door, followed with dark chocolate.

Let's see what tomorrow's weather brings.
