Today we returned our rental car and moved to another hotel. Surprisingly to us, these two hotels were within walking distance of each other.

_02A2078 We were greeted at this guesthouse with a glass of port.

Being so close meant that we were somewhat familiar with the area. We also knew where to catch the hop-on bus, which we took because we had purchased two-day tickets. We eventually got off near the Douro River and walked to enjoy the nice sunny day.
