I finally am up to date with my editing of photos from last autumn and early this winter.

I am also getting familiarized with my two new mirrorless cameras, a Canon R and a Canon R6.

These cameras are smaller and lighter than full-frame DSLRs, and also with improved performance.

M_21_0055Shopkeeper, Little Rapids General Store, Ontario I especially like these cameras' improved results with high ISOs, as in this photo of the proprietor of the Little Rapids General Store.

They also include image stabilization in-camera, which adds to that already on the lenses, making hand holding much more reliable.

This is one of my photos taken this fall north of Blind River.

C_22_0016Trans-Canada Highway, Saskatchewan This is an image taken along the Trans-Canada Highway somewhere in Saskatchewan. It illustrates the conditions in which we were driving between Winnipeg and Regina: -28°C with winds that made it feel like -42°.
