Today Tony Mandle and I went up to Silver Star to photograph the annual "Over the Hill" downhill races. This proved to be a challenge, mainly because I had never before tried to photograph the action at speed events such as this. We tried a number of different locations for different perspectives. This was also to be a test of my 150-500 mm Sigma lens with the Canon 5D Mark 3 camera.
I made 552 images of the racers. My first quick edit reduced this to 228 possible images. But this will need more critical editing to pare it down to only the best images..
