February 7 - Vernon Winter Carnival
Skiing this week was very good. Thursday was exceptional as we had a substantial fall of fresh snow. That was perfect for me as it was the first day on my new skis. And then came Friday - warm weather and rain in Vernon. We had four good days of skiing this week, in what has been an unusual winter.
Today was the annual Vernon Winter Carnival parade, the start of a week's festivities. This year's theme was "Rock and Roll."
