Another day of rain, so at least we got our money's worth from the umbrellas.

We left our airbnb but it was still raining, heavily at times, so we thought that this would be a good time to go grocery shopping. Then we drove on to the area around Lake Bohinj.

We stopped in Stara Fuzina, hoping that the rain would let up.

Around here they know how to pile their firewood. It's a work of art.

After a little lunch stop we decided to drive up to a high mountain plateau. 

No point in sitting around.

After a long drive up this narrow winding road (though it was paved) we arrived at Planina Blato.

This was a place where the farmers would graze their cows in the summer months.

Interesting to visit and contemplate on what life was like back then. Not for me.

These horses were pastured in a field just before we reached the village of Stara Fuzina.

This is a small village (Bitnja) we passed on our return to our airbnb in Bohinjska Bela.
