Lots of snow and an absence of winds resulted in a build-up of snow on the trees near the summit of the skiing runs at Silver Star Mountain Resort near Vernon, British Columbia.
So after a morning of skiing, I decided to take my camera to the top of the mountain to make photographs of the trees. This phenomenon would likely not last long. Sunshine, warm weather, or winds would quickly clear the trees of their snow loads. Seize the opportunity.
Here are four selections from my photo session.
