January 31 - Report from Vernon
After last weekend's rain and mild weather, the ski slopes were not in very good condition. We are spoiled after all of our western skiing. We expect much better. The hills were very hard, but not icy except early in the morning. The groomed runs were the only ones that were enjoyable for skiing. The redeeming aspects of the week were the clear skies and sunshine (except on Tuesday).
