We'd received reports of sightings of Snowy Owls on Manitoulin Island. So today Don Johnston and I drove there with the slight hope of photographing them.
But we saw no owls. So did we give a hoot? Yes, it would have been nice to at least have seen an owl, but having realized that this would likely be the result of this search, we found other subjects to photograph. The location in which we spent the longest time was at Bridal Veil Falls at Kagawong. The falls had both lots of ice and falling water - a good situation.
15-01-02 Snowy owls are still on my want list.
