January 19 - Winter Drive to British Columbia

As we have done for the past nine winters, we have again arrived in Vernon to spend the next three months skiing at Silver Star Mountain.

A January road trip from Ontario to the west is always an adventure. The weather might be mild or freezing cold, sunny or stormy, calm or fiercely windy.

This year's drive was quite good, except for one late afternoon and early morning in Minnesota when the roads were snow-packed and slippery.

Here are a few photos that I made on our journey.
