Christmas here was a quiet affair since we had celebrated ten days ago in Toronto. After a leisurely breakfast, we noticed that Santa had left a few presents under the Christmas tree in the breakfast room.

After Annie opened her gifts from Santa, we returned to our rooms for a little quiet time. From our window we noticed that the clouds had parted to give us a brief view of the mountains.

_B0A8810 Around mid-day we went for a short walk up the road that passed our hotel, before going for a drive up the valley to St. Johann.
