Yes, this is the fifth day since we left home, but in reality we've had three full days of driving. After spending two nights with Susan and John, we left Pewaukee on Tuesday morning.

We drove across southern Minnesota along I-90 on an overcast day, to Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This morning we left Sioux Falls on a sunny morning with the temperature of -20C. We stopped an hour later for coffee and a great fresh breakfast at a coffee roastery, Elixir, in Mitchell, South Dakota.

We drove with good driving conditions across South Dakota. At times the skies were overcast, other times the fog settled lower with frost on the trees, and then the fog would lift.

We then crossed into Wyoming and had sunshine until we stopped at Gillette, Wyoming, for the night.
