It's been much too long since my last blog post. I do apologize for this delay. But the unseasonably warm weather has provided the opportunity to do lots of work outdoors in the yard. For this I am not sorry. I also was just able to catch up on the processing of my photos, so I'm up to date on that.

Here are a few images from this fall, images that I think are not what one usually makes at this season.

S_20_0553 It's not always about trees, but I could not resist this beautifully shaped birch on a foggy morning.

S_20_0683 Backlit fog on a pond near Rock Lake - it's in the small details and not always the grand landscape.

S_20_0675 I was attracted by the contrast of the cool blue frosty foreground with the warm rays of the rising sun behind.

I hope you enjoyed this variety of images from my fall outings, all taken close to home because of the pandemic restrictions.

Here' looking forward to travelling maybe next year. In the meantime, there are so many photos that one can create in one's own neighbourhood. The best images are so often taken close to home, in familiar territory.

I plan to blog on a schedule now, every two weeks, beginning on November 25 (a month before Christmas).
