It turned out to be a great day for driving - sunny, warm, clear roads, even over Rogers Pass.

One coffee stop in Revelstoke and a sandwich on the go, then it was to Canmore, Alberta, for the night. With all the prepared foods we brought along, the most stressful decision we had to make that evening was what to eat for dinner along with a good Okanagan Syrah.

It snowed that night in Canmore, so we awoke to a beautiful morning in the Rockies.

After breakfast in our room, we packed to leave on our eastward trek.

But first, I had to take some photos of the wonderful snowy scenery.

Onward we drove, past Medicine Hat and then into Saskatchewan and a coffee stop in Swift Current.

Every place is eerily quiet. Most people seem to be respecting the rules of keeping a safe distance.

The most disconcerting actions we saw were the numerous vehicles travelling west from Calgary to the Rockies.

We again had our gourmet dining experience in our hotel suite. Just trying to keep as safe as we can.
