May 23 - Photo of the Day

What I like about this time of the year are the variety of hues of green in the forest.

To get a perspective on the forest colours, this morning I climbed a hill on the north side of Long Lake.

_02A5160_02A5160 It will be too soon before most of this forest becomes a singular shade of green, and boring to photograph.

A high point of view gives photographs a different perspective than the too usual eye level view.

I will search out high perspectives for photographing from, most often in my travels.

When visiting towns and cities I'll find churches or municipal buildings that have towers that can be climbed.

This view of Old Town Square in Prague is one example.

The ultimate high point of view comes from an airplane, as in this photo in Muskoka.
