Greek Islands Trip - Day 11

Hello from Mykonos:

Another day enjoying the sights of this town (Hora, which is the name of the main town and port). One can wander these winding alleyways many times and still not figure out how to find a particular location.
Veda and Grace took a bus to a beach on the other side of the island (a whole 10 minute trip) for a bit of sunning and a dip in the sea.
Our weather changed. It clouded over late this afternoon, the first change from incessant sunny days.
We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Photo tip: As you may have noticed, there are a lot of white-washed buildings in the Greek Islands. In these situations you must make metering adjustments. Unless you allow for this, all of these white buildings will look muddy and gray.
Camera meters are calibrated to expose for 18% gray (the tone of washed blue jeans, green foliage, etc.). So an automatic exposure will see these whites as grays. Remember to tell your camera's meter to add light, which means a plus setting of exposure compensation.
With a digital camera, learn to check your histogram.
