Today was another in which I worked at photographing Sudbury, practice for my travel photography in urban areas.
I prowled the streets and alleyways of Gatchell, as the western section of the old city is known. Here, very close to the old slag dumps, are a lot of older homes.
July 14-1 Is this old house, with its exterior constructed with rocks, not an appropriate symbol of Sudbury?
July 14-2 More rocks - flowers against a house wall.
July 14-3 Most homes here would have their garages, as was the custom in earlier times, accessed via a back alley.
