Earlier this week, we spent two nights at Killarney Mountain Lodge with the Wilkinsons and Sunstrums.

We arrived on Monday during a pouring rain. Our spirits were were not dampened. Dinner that evening at the lodge was superb, followed by drinks and live music in the lounge. So who cared if the weather was not cooperating!

The following morning was very foggy, as you can see in this photo of the harbour.

The fog gradually lifted during the day, making a short trip into the provincial park possible.

For dinner we went for the iconic Herbert's fish and chips - a Killarney highlight.
