Most of the last two months here in the North Okanagan have been colder than normal. I have concentrated more on skiing than photography outings. That has also been because the conditions have not been good enough to motivate me.
This past weekend was the first time that we ventured further south. Along with Mo and Dennis Hunkin, we drove to Penticton at the south end of Lake Okanagan and then north on the east side along the Naramata Bench where there are a number of wineries, but most are still closed at this time of the year.

We visited Poplar Grove Winery for a tasting of their wines. Of course we also bought a bottle or three. We also did a tasting at Township 7 Winery.

There was quite a lot of snow in the vineyards, as these two images of Naramata Bench illustrate.
I also made a few images in the Vernon and Coldstream area where we are spending the winter.

This photo I made at Rose's Pond near Vernon. The following two images are of Kalamalka Lake at Coldstream, close to our winter home.

Recent Work
I have been processing photos from our trip to Switzerland and Austria during Christmas and New Year's. This photo I made of the buildings along the Inn River in Innsbruck. To see more of the photographs from this trip, click on the Galleries tab on my home page, and then choose Recent Work.
