June 5 - Spring colours around Sudbury

I must apologize for the long period between blog posts. Spring was slow in coming here, with late snow melt and a lot of unseasonably cool weather. It seems such a long time back that we experienced spring in the Okanagan Valley.

What I like to photograph here in early spring are the lush fresh colours. There is such a variety of shades of green in spring, before the foliage matures and the green shades seem so uniform. The one difficulty is tolerating the black flies and mosquitoes which seem fierce this spring.

Following is a collection of photos that I made in the last month.
