March 28 - Home and Self-isolation

We arrived home on Thursday, having spent six days on the trip from British Columbia.

The last day's drive was the only one with difficult road conditions. Between Rossport and Marathon, the highway was at times slushy and snow packed. The rest of the time the roads were wet, which made driving tedious.

While we are in required isolation or distancing from others, we must find variety in our day to day activities. Though there are numerous household tasks to get caught up on, we must engage in pleasurable activities also.

With this in mind, I have set myself an assignment - to produce at least one decent photograph each day.

This will be a difficult goal for two reasons: this time of the year can be dreary and the landscape is not inspiring; and my photo pursuits will be constrained by the edict to stay home.

I will likely not come up with many wow photos, but I'll try to avoid the mundane ones. Here is today's beginning.
