June 11 - Connemara, Ireland

This will be a short update. Too many late nights at pubs listening to traditional Irish musicians has resulted in good times, but no blogs.

Since the last blog, we left Northern Ireland and have travelled through Counties Donegal, Leitrum, Mayo, Sligo, and Galway, which is where we are now. Chris is leaving tomorrow morning on the bus to Galway and Dublin, and flying to Germany on Friday.

14-06-11-114-06-11-1 Chris and Veda are in Ireland's smallest pub, Mary McBride's, in Cushendun, County Antrim.

14-06-11-214-06-11-2 Here we are on the beach at Downhill, County Derry.

The number of sandy beaches in Ireland is astounding. If the temperatures were ten degrees warmer, these would be clogged with holiday resorts. 14-06-11-314-06-11-3 The gardens at Glenveagh Castle, Glenveagh National Park, County Donegal.

The next blog will include a selection of photos from this last week. Stay tuned!
